Blazers


Chest
Measure straight across, 1 inch below armpit.

Shirts


A. Chest
Measure straight across, 1 inch below each armpit.
B. Waist
Measure around the waist at its narrowest point.
C. Length
Measure along the back, the base of the collar to the bottom.
D. Sleeve
Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the sleeve cuff.
E. Neck
Measure around the base of the neck, inserting a finger or two between the tape and neck for comfort.

Blouses


A. Bust
Place the tape close up to under the arms. Measure the chest at the fullest part.
B. Waist
Measure around the waist at its narrowest point.

Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the sleeve cuff.

Measure from the crotch to the hem of the trousers.
N.B. Inside leg has nothing to do with waist size.

Measure around the natural waistline.

For Boys

1. Neck

Measure the full neck circumference where the shirt would naturally sit. Allow at least 2 fingers to fit between the neck and the tape measure this is the growth room. Always allow a little growth room in your choice.

2. Chest

Measure the chest under the arms at the fullest part of the chest. The measurement is the full circumference of the chest. Allow your child to breathe in and take this measurement.

3. Waist

Measure around the natural waistline, the measurement needed is the full waistline circumference. Trousers have adjustable waist bands so you can make slight adjustments to fit the waist.

4. Inside leg

The inside leg measurement corresponds to the length of the trouser. Measure from the crotch to where the trousers would normally be worn down to the bottom of the ankle.

For Girls

1. Bust

Measure the chest under the arms at the fullest part of the chest. The measurement is the full circumference of the chest. Allow your child to breathe in then take this measurement.

2. Waist

Measure around the natural waistline, the measurement needed is the full circumference of the waist. Trousers have adjustable waist bands so you can make slight adjustments to fit the waist.

3. Hip

Measure around the fullest part of the body, typically 7-9 inches, below the natural waist and remember to keep the tape a bit loose.

4. Inside leg

The inside leg measurement corresponds to the length of the trouser, measure from the top of the inner thigh down to the bottom of the ankle.
